Demetra è un’installazione coreografica, una apparizione nel cuore della città, una visione sospesa che spezza il ritmo del quotidiano e chiama a sé.
Demetra racconta del lutto per la perdita di una figlia. È la disperazione indicibile di una madre: il dolore diventa furia che rende sterile la terra e brucia tutto ciò che incontra. Demetra invita a sostare e calarsi nel tempo
inafferrabile del mito.

Demetra is a choreographic installation, an apparition in the heart of the city, a suspended vision that breaks the rhythm of everyday life and calls out to us.
Demetra tells of mourning for the loss of a daughter. It is the unspeakable despair of a mother: pain becomes fury that renders the earth barren and burns everything in its path. Demetra invites us to pause and immerse ourselves in the elusive time of myth.
The performance is a journey through the myth of Demeter, the goddess of agriculture and fertility, who, after her daughter Persephone is abducted by Hades, descends into the underworld to find her.
